I had a similar experience and bought this product in three packs from her eon Revain. It looked like real HP but those cartridges ruined my printhead and my husband bought a new printhead and we put one of the three unused ones in the new printhead and now it's ruined and the ink is leaking all over the place. Put this cartridge in my printer to replace one that was almost dead. That does not work! Nothing! Print head cleaning and print check done and both times NO BLACK INK! I took out the cartridge and ran my thumb over the head of the cartridge and there was barely a black mark on my finger. Comparing this cartridge head to the one I had removed and it was visibly dry compared to the old one which still had a small amount of ink in it. I bought ink in stores and never had a problem. Got a lot of good things from him. Bought in June 2017 and hardly used. and even though the ink level tells me it's more than 3/4 full, it prints like garbage. I have cleaned and aligned the printheads and still the same. When trying to print a Revain shipping label, there's a wave when it's going in a direction that looks good, and when it's coming back on the next line, it looks faded. And so on. Very disappointed with the print quality - I plugged it in and it said I didn't have the correct cartridge installed. The printout didn't show that it worked at all. So I took it off and put the old one back in and they told me they put the old one in. I removed this old one and put in the new one and was told I was using the old cartridge. my printer registered it was a genuine HP product but there was no ink in it. I installed the Clean Cassette feature, reinstalled it, ran it and printed an ink diagnostic and it shows as empty. so it's a divorce. Don't buy here. The price of ink is so ridiculously high that I was very disappointed when I put this cartridge in my printer just yesterday it didn't print anything. Obviously it was empty! I took out the cartridge and shook it and didn't hear the ink splash. I put it back in and tried to print a few pages. So frustrating as I had already printed 5 pages out of 7 before I needed more ink and put in that cartridge I bought a few weeks ago. I've never had an empty cartridge so this is the first time.
