Was purchased with a camera. I didn’t shoot them often, because I have better optics. But I can say that the glass works out its money, its sharpness is quite normal, there were no serious problems with focusing, but there are mistakes. Now I use it only for shooting landscapes at a wide angle, and then rarely. They don't need to shoot people at all. Portraits are very mediocre. The lenses appear to be plastic. The overall structure is weak. I would not recommend this lens to beginners, the lens needs to be shot given its shortcomings, and this requires at least a little experience. Beginners can get completely frustrated by the fact that the pictures with this glass are bad and cool down to photography . It makes no sense to spend money on a DSLR if you shoot with this glass. Still, the carcass itself does not shoot, the quality of the pictures fundamentally depends on the quality of the optics and the skill of the photographer. It's funny to see people with a DSLR and such a lens, it's a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend learning from it either. In principle, it is almost useless for me, it’s a pity to sell it (it costs a penny), but I bought it as a kit, since there was no choice. This is a very average staff member for crop, for very symbolic money (practically, shareware). They are not bad at shooting landscapes, long shots, etc. The advantage of the lens is its lightness. When I take the main optics, I take it as a "makeweight". Often he just lies in the car, always at hand. I do not recommend dropping it (in general, like all other optics), the lenses in it are fixed, as far as I know, very weakly, even a weak fall and that's it . The price for an autofocus glass with a stub is ridiculous . Although by and large a stub is not particularly needed on such glass, aperture is much more important. For those who want to get better pictures, I would recommend other staffers in the range of 16-50 mm. Take a closer look at the tamron, tokin. All success.
