Review on Noctua NF-P14s Redux-1200 PWM 💨 140mm Quiet Fan - Grey (4-Pin) by Kevin Folsom

Although I was initially drawn to these fans for their affordability and quietness, I've since learned my lesson. Be warned: These fans are very difficult to install and commission. First, the mounting holes on these fans were never tapped, you have to do it yourself (which you're never told, maybe that's industry practice, don't know). I only noticed that after I found the installation instructions in the forum. There is no manual with the product and there is no manual for these case fans on the website. After all, after installing the fans, their PWM functions did not work, no matter how I integrated them into my fan controller. While the fans are quiet at their base settings, they move almost no air, enough to be outperformed by a single 120mm fan in a standard chassis. While this might just be a coincidence on Noctua's part, both 140mm fans I bought showed the same issues. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy these fans find a different brand or model for each computer.
