Superior quality and performance. You get what you pay for.

Pros: - Quality construction - Extremely quiet - Moves a lot of air - PWM Cons: - Price - Comes with cheap silver screws. I would have preferred rubber screws, but oh well. Honestly, I wouldn't buy this fan unless I needed a fan no deeper than 25mm. I usually go for the Arctic F14, which costs under $10, but it's 27mm deep, so it doesn't fit in the front of my case. I have a Fractal Design Define R4 case with screwless front intake fans. They are held in place by tiny clips and a fan that isโ€ฆ

Amazing case fans in internal components

At 1200 RPM they deliver significantly more airflow than my Thermaltake Riing 14 at 1400 RPM. They are definitely quieter and seem to perform better at automatic speeds and have smoother airflow. They don't have that much static pressure, but as unrestricted exhaust fans I don't need much. However, they have a much higher static pressure than many other 1200 RPM silent case fans. I use 3 of these as exhaust and 3 NF-12P Redux 1700 as inlet in my NZXT H440 for positive air pressure. With the fan

Effective. Calm. Muted colors.

I love these fans. I replaced a factory exhaust fan from my case and two fans from my AIO cooler in a "pull" configuration. Thanks to the fin design, they also work great in "push" mode. My CPU temperature dropped by an average of about 7 degrees and noise levels dropped significantly. I have a computer on the table next to me and I can't hear the fans when I'm playing games. Since they are 4-pin PWM, they idle at 600-700 rpm. Even at full load (1200 rpm) they sound very quiet. Not entirelyโ€ฆ

Set RPM <50% in standby

Great fans that are difficult to hear in a sealed case at RPMs below 50%. Heard, but above 50% not uncomfortable. My computer is on the table a meter to my left. Keep in mind that if your PSU isn't quiet or turns off a fan at low loads, its fan will likely be louder than those fans. Also, any active hard drive is much louder than case fans. After installing them for several hours, I thought I heard a loud fan noise coming from my computer. Turns out the heat is on in our house, which has an air

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Don't buy them if you don't know what you're getting into.

Although I was initially drawn to these fans for their affordability and quietness, I've since learned my lesson. Be warned: These fans are very difficult to install and commission. First, the mounting holes on these fans were never tapped, you have to do it yourself (which you're never told, maybe that's industry practice, don't know). I only noticed that after I found the installation instructions in the forum. There is no manual with the product and there is no manual for these case fans onโ€ฆ

This is a Noctua fan at a lower price and maybe better colors.

That's a Noctua fan! "He usually says everything. 1500rpm seems to be more popular, I don't really understand why, but I took 1200rpm because I wanted quiet. I will never run these things at maximum speed. I don't know how people say these things are "quiet" at full speed - maybe the fan itself is there, but the air turbulence it creates isn't. It's not the fans fault, it's just the physics. I connected 3 of these to a PWM hub and at 50% speed they are really quiet. Most people couldn't tellโ€ฆ
