I received the "Sc-1010-b" (2.5mm x 1mm) and it is a good weight. Sturdy yet thin enough to be used as a regular necklace. I use 22 gauge stainless steel wire, which is too thick for links in the middle of the chain but ideal for links at the ends (e.g. for attaching fasteners). I've used this for a few projects so far (including bracelets for my kids who are rough on them) and haven't had any issues with disconnection/breakage, rusting or discoloration. Appearing to be made of high quality durable stainless steel, it's built to last and looks great. The chain sometimes twists a little, but only when twisted, so it is suitable for bracelets and necklaces. I just make sure it's straight before I attach it. There'
