Drinking troughs are one of mankind's greatest inventions. Nearly. May be? Anyway, for this mom, they are. My kids love drinking milk from their cereal bowls, but they are 2 and 3 years old respectively and tipping the bowls results in spilled milk, tears and a big mess. While they may not clean up a mess (because let's face it, toddlers are babies and can make a mess even when there's nothing to play around with), they definitely help and are fun! My youngest is in occupational therapy and one motor skill we're working on is straw sucking. What he finds funny, I see him working out his mouth muscles. Win, win! These bowls are made of thick plastic, good quality, easy to clean. They're larger than the character design spill-proof cups, so I can see we're going to be using them for a longer period of time. Would definitely recommend them if you have kids or are a kid at heart. :)
