Suitable for 5 year olds, between the ages of 6 and 7. Worn for several months and withstood several washes. Firmly at 7/8 now and we'll rate, but held up well. No purity. Also bought for a 4 year old who rolled in 6-6x was a bit big but not terrible. Two of the straps snapped (same on each side) which means it's a little looser, but the baby kept pulling so it's not the tights' fault. It is known that the child is very picky about clothes. Was even worn once as a bathing suit and no one could tell and got lots of compliments
