I bought these to wear in my new winter boots which were too tight with Costco's bulky merino hiking socks. It's been about five months and I'm very happy with them. The winter was mild so I didn't need special boots, but I wear these socks almost every day. They are very comfortable, keep my feet warm and wick moisture for the most part. I try to wash them on a cold gentle cycle and line dry, but I've washed them warm and tumble dried a few times and they don't seem to be affected.
