Couldn't design an off button?

For $250, I wasn't expecting less than a collar-down feature. The remote control can be turned off which is great so I don't have to charge it a lot. On the other hand, the collar... this thing will never go out. I don't use this collar on my dog very often as I don't need to shock him. I put it on maybe every three days when we're somewhere far away and I don't want it running off into the sunset. But here, every time I take this thing to put it on my dog, the battery dies completely. In fact, I could only use the pager feature twice a month because it's always empty. Honestly, for the price, it's absolute crap. $250 is a very high price for something that never works when I need it. I absolutely do not recommend it. The belt buckle with remote control is also funny. It has to be screwed on and is metal so it won't snag on most of your clothing unless you break your fingers trying to create a tiny gap to thread it through your pants. Honestly, who designed this? Did you even do user testing? The shock collar is also the most uncomfortable plastic I have ever put on my dog and I have to cut off the excess space. There has to be a better way to do this. There are many companies that make comfortable dog collars at a very low cost. It seems like the whole idea behind making this product is the device that stings your dog. The rest was definitely not invented by the dog's owner. Do it better. I work in a product. I'm happy to direct you to the UX tests you can run. It really is a terrible price to pay for such a bad experience. I could list many more issues with the product, but then I will never end this post.
