so I get the message on my tablet. Bathroom fan motor supplied. On my way to the mailbox, I find a fairly large box on the porch, a foot one way and fourteen, sixteen inches the other. That's when I remembered other reviews mentioned a brand new fan being sent to buy just the motor and that's exactly what happened to me. And as per the other review I took the motor out of the build and put it in my installed fan as it is installed and the drywall is well patched up having installed it thirty years ago. The fact that the motor isn't flat on either end was an issue and I drilled the hole a bit more and bent and reversed the bolts in the motor a bit, later I had a working fan. HOORAY! Now about the fuss with fan noise. I don't understand at all. This engine is pretty quiet. almost in a whisper. How does this block out all other noises in the bathroom? That being said, the motor seems a little economical in design and compared to others I've seen. The fan blade is quite small and I was able to reuse mine. The fan case is really good, although I didn't get to use it at the time. It's mostly lost the value of an entire fan for me, but it's still a good buy.
