Review on Magpul Patrol Glove 2.0: Lightweight Tactical Leather Gloves for Enhanced Performance by Brad Schillings

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great fit for me, yet to be tested

Only got them yesterday so disclaimer as the name suggests I have not taken them out or worked with them. My only real criticism of the gloves is that Magpul doesn't make them in the US like most of their other products. That's one of the main reasons I'm happy to support their company, but they might have had to make them somewhere else, just like the glasses. I know other people have said they had horrible landing experiences but it was great on my hands. The fingers and toes are good and well-groomed. The palm is a little off my hand, but I expected it for the most part. I hope he doesn't relax too much. If I wear them in the winter I'll probably buy another pair so I have a pair that won't stick out of my glove liner in cold weather. From what I've tested in less than a day, the grip with these gloves is excellent. . Some activities where I have pressure issues can easily be done with gloves. I'm not sure about their durability, but unless you use them constantly/frequently, it looks like they'll last a bit. As for its touchscreen aspect, I couldn't use it with my tablet, but I didn't buy it for that. That part of it doesn't concern me as much as the fit, functionality and durability of the gloves. I'll try to update this later when I use them.

Pros
  • Goatskin palm for maximum durability; Soft, closed-cell foam wrist protection; Nylon back hand cord
Cons
  • Expandable
