I got this mirror for my mother who complained about her eyes before I gave her this mirror she used a real lamp (you can see it in the background of one of the photos). Put makeup on her for work in the morning, it was starting to bother her eyes and I wanted something much more practical and useful, I was impressed with the brightness setting that you can adjust on the front. The mirror is the perfect size, not too big taking up a lot of space and not too small that you have to squint to use it. The pivot/stand is also sturdy but gives you the perfect angle and stays where you set it. The item is well made and well thought out. My mother liked it and if it makes her happy then I agree.
