I drive a 2016 Ford Focus St and bought this because I hate the suction cups that keep falling in my car, it kinda solves this problem. When I first unboxed it I thought it was pretty cheap plastic at first, but I wasn't expecting it to be around $15 anyway, just something to keep in mind. I mounted this thing under my mirror as the ST has no mirror electronics and is pretty basic. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually holds the phone snugly and snugly for normal everyday driving. It also rotates fairly easily so I can let my passenger pick songs and stuff from my phone while he's there, it was a pretty nice feature. I don't know how it would be if you go crazy or use it like during a race or whatever as it can move around you but if you only use it for your phone on your commute to work or school - look at him. a bit to turn the phone on and off and I don't know how well they'll survive a hot Texas summer, but it's easy to replace if you have to. Plastic and rubber are pretty cheap, which is not what you expect at this price point, and I couldn't help but think that with more durable plastic and rubber, this design would be really good.
