This item arrived on time and well protected in a Prime Bubble Manila envelope (now standard). The indentation used to hold the drive in place was too narrow in my opinion; I had to be very careful not to break it because the disc is quite thin but not flimsy. Once out of the box, it was pretty easy to install on the motherboard and easy to initialize and format in Disk Management. Then I prepared it for use as the boot drive on my new computer. I used Macrium Reflect's free homemade disk cloning software to prepare it and it captured the contents of my existing OS disk without errors. Load times are noticeably faster, as are response times in the apps I've used so far. The formatted size was unsurprisingly just under 256GB. I have no idea what allows drive manufacturers to seem willy-nilly to exaggerate the capacity of drives, but that shouldn't be allowed. This drive is formatted at 237GB, which puts it in the 240GB range, not the 256GB range. However, I am satisfied so far.
