Review on πŸ”’ Premium 2 Pack Heavy Duty Rubber Wheel Chock with Eyebolt – Unbeatable Strength and Safety by Bilal Cartwright

nice big size for outdoor use

mine arrived today. I was disappointed to see a crack/split about 1.5" long and 1/2" wide on the inside corner of one of my wheel chocks. I'm not sure how the hell that could have happened. It doesn't seem to affect the structural integrity of the item so I probably won't be returning it. They're good, heavy, and wider than most bars. That covers about the width of my tire on my 2003 Ford Expedition, which is nice. They have eye hooks to hook onto a chain or rope for quick and easy pulling of the wedges without bending over. They are not hard rubber as the interior is hollow but this should not affect their ability to stop a vehicle. They have some sort of slimy release agent or maybe it's part of the material itself. I took one of these and cleaned the bottom with a brush and dish soap. I parked it behind my Ford Expedition in a garage paved with smooth concrete. When I pressed this block to the ground with my foot, I assumed in advance that it would slide and not stop my car. I engage reverse and let it idle through the chalk. Then I gave him some gas against the wedges, went forward and came back again. Mel was fine. I slipped a bit on the dry ground. I assume that a wet floor slips more. I take my Dotco and rough up the underside of the pads to give it more grip from slipping. If mine doesn't crack and the bottom is more slip resistant, either due to a different material or texture, I would give that 5 stars.

Pros
  • handsfree kit
Cons
  • very expensive
