I love alcohol inks and use them in various art projects. I don't like how expensive they can be. I was very excited to try this cheaper set but it turned out to be a shining example of you get what you pay for. The first thing that struck me is that they come in much smaller bottles. Because of this, they don't fit on storage shelves like my other alcohol inks. I love the color choices and how vibrant the colors look. It has a good range of colors with similar hues that blend well with each other. The real problem arose when I started using them. The ink lacks the rich pigment found in most alcohol inks. It looked like it had separated instead of having a nice smooth blended texture. He's not focused enough. It can work for touching up things like epoxy where you can add more pigment but I wouldn't use it if you want a full strength alcohol ink. I was hoping for a cheaper alternative but they don't work at all.
