I would buy it again in a different situation. We just got a new 3 year old sporting dog who has lived in the breeder's kennel since birth. We took him to our home in the suburbs, which is a total stranger to him. I think he was worried because it was all alien to him. Unfortunately, he chewed through the leash very quickly - the husband put it on - turned to the phone - turned his back on the dog, and the leash snapped. This has never happened to me, and the breeder (personal friend, breeds fabulous dogs) was shocked - she had never seen such behavior from him. He chewed 2 more now he has a chain leash until he calms down.
