The best thing I can say about this lever is that it's ROBUST. You have to put some effort into bending it, and that's exactly what is required with a product like this to avoid "sagging" when the phone is clamped. It's been sitting on my bedside table for a couple of months now, held in a coiled up position like a snake (or product image), making it even more durable. I'm torn if I want the table clamp to be stronger as it might start to slip, but I think that's because I was trying to adjust my hand without removing it from the table. It should be bent into the desired position and then reattached to the furniture. Also, a tighter fit can damage the wood, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
