This is a great strap for carrying your paddleboard. It's durable, thoughtfully designed, well made and has room for a paddle and water bottle. I didn't fully appreciate the last two features at first, but they were very useful to me. However, it is not ideal for transporting a kayak. I used my Gonex harness on my 34lb Pelican Challenger 80-X. Even at just 34 pounds, carrying a kayak this way is extremely uncomfortable. I had to carry it about a block from my car to the ramp and back when I finished my day. 10-20 meters? No problem. Block? Not what I want to repeat. But it's great for its intended purpose!
