My son has been attending the Sports Wrestling School for the sixth year now. They are taught there many sports related to various martial arts. He didn't like hand-to-hand combat. At first, for the first three years, he gravitated more toward judo, then he made up his mind on his own, and realized that sambo was more attractive to him. Of course, it doesn’t matter to me: as long as I go in for sports and don’t mess around, but with the change in the type of wrestling, the question arose of buying a new set of uniforms for training. We had two pairs of white judo kimonos. And for sambo classes, you need a sambo jacket, shorts and shoes called wrestling shoes. I will describe the second part of the attire - shorts. They are blue or red. The color of the shorts must match the color of the jacket. The son immediately chose red - bright and expressive. With the choice of the company - the manufacturer, the question did not arise at all, since at our sports school only one manufacturer's shorts were sold: "Sport product SHR5". Prices were significantly lower than in city sports shops or when ordering online. Therefore, advice: do not rush to buy the uniform yourself, first find out, usually sports schools have a supplier. The name of the manufacturer was only on the plastic packaging, there were no sewn-in labels, except for a tiny one indicating the size. I think that this is done on purpose: any label will interfere during the fight or tickle the skin. Here are the shorts. The color is saturated. On the sides - white stripes with the inscriptions "Sambo" in Russian and English. The letters are not embroidered through, but glued, but so strong that they have already withstood many washes and stretches during training. And yet the letters did not stretch, deform, or crack. Knitwear is incredibly elastic: it stretches in all directions, but not freely, but with effort. It quickly returns to its original shape. The shorts also did not deform and did not lose their appearance. Knitwear is pleasant to the touch, warm, composed of 95% cotton. The inner side, adjacent to the body, is fleecy, the outer side is smooth and slippery. On the belt, from the inside, a braid is sewn in for tightening according to the figure. But in principle, it is not needed, except for thin athletes. In general, a multi-row wide elastic band perfectly copes with its duties: the shorts sit tight, and at the same time do not press on the stomach and do not tighten. The braid was not useful to us, we did not even untie this factory knot at the end. But it does not interfere, thin and elastic. The seams are very strong, made with elastic threads. The ends of the threads are hidden, do not hang anywhere. During the operation, not a single seam began to diverge. There is only one problem: the white inserts slightly faded from the main fabric during the first wash and became pinkish. However, this is not a problem, for many athletes this is the case, no one has complexes and does not pay attention. And in other boys, the inserts retained their snow-white color. I don’t know, maybe moms washed it with their hands. Next time when buying new shorts I will try to keep the white color on the sides - it's more beautiful. This is how they looked new. Found a photo on my smartphone. I apologize for the quality, but it’s visual. Washing them is very simple: in the machine on a delicate wash, they dry quickly overnight. I wash them more often than my jacket, because they absorb sweat very well and get dirty more. The shorts are good, there are no complaints about the quality. I don't wear them yet either.
