This is a pretty neat piece of software, however, if you're looking for something that provides you with an entire solution, you should probably look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a product that helps you track your boats' towage status, then this might be a good fit. As a business owner myself, I'm always interested in ways to improve my bottom line, and if this tool could help me save money on fuel costs, I'd definitely consider purchasing it. If you want to get really creative with your pricing model (I am), you may find yourself getting into trouble. A boat is towed at one rate per day or week depending on how long you wish to pay monthly. So, you could easily run $10-20/day without realizing it. But, there's no way to turn off auto-renewal so you'll end up paying every month until they pull your credit card info! Also, since you don't own the account information, you cannot cancel when renewing. For these reasons alone, I wouldn't recommend using MarineM unless you know all aspects of its use before signing up. They do provide some customer assistance through phone calls, emails, etc., which is appreciated, especially considering most users will never make contact with them. I would suggest contacting someone within the company prior to signing up.
