Total Control Software - Great platform, horrible support

I like that it has all of my inventory in one place so i can easily access everything at once. It also makes managing invoices easy to keep track of. The customer service is not great. They are very slow to respond when you need help or fix an issue with their software. Also they have been known to charge your card without letting you know first! Make sure you do thorough research before deciding if this product will work best for your dealership. We use total control as our accounting system…

  • Allows us view complete information about each vehicle
  • Easier than manually calculating monthly payments, etc.
  • Updates info quickly (most times within 10 seconds!)
  • Easy way find vehicles by make/model number instead searching through hundreds upon thousands

Great Dealership Management Solution and Customer Service

The best thing I like about this software is that it offers all of my needs within one platform- from customer service to sales management; everything in between! There isn't much not liked at present, but as any business grows you will likely find some things lacking or difficult with certain functions/features (which are currently being developed). TotalControl is a web based application designed to provide dealers with a complete view of their customer base.

I was introduced to TotalControl by my dealership management partner when I was approached about managing his new business venture. I was impressed by the technology and functionality of the system, and the attention to detail he provided when implementing the software. He has since added two other partners to the software suite, and is planning to add even more functionality over time. All three dealerships are utilizing the product effectively, and providing excellent service and advice to

Pros
  • I liked that he went through every step to make sure we were getting the best value from the software package, and that there wasn't any hidden fees.
  • There was very little downtime, as we were always connected to the server
Cons
  • The software does not have any mobile apps at this time, although they said they were coming soon.
  • When you purchase additional licenses, the number of seats per license changes.
  • The price of the software increases yearly, and the company has a history of increasing prices annually.
