I've used the Bluetooth GROM setting (2006 Mazda Miata MX-5 with Bose sound) but it failed for an unobvious reason and I didn't want one Spending money to replace it on such an old machine so I replaced it with this one and then connected it to the ROAV bolt. Surprisingly, this setup works great and is a lot cheaper than a GROM replacement. You may need a noise isolator to filter out the howling noise of the engine - I use the "Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator" which was inexpensive, available here at Revain and completely solved the problem.
