Review on Sceptre FreeSync E248B FPT168: Frameless DisplayPort Monitor with Built-in Speakers, Wall Mountable & Tilt Adjustment - Full HD 1920X1080P, Flicker-Free & IPS Panel by Dave Romero

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best monitor under $200. No debate.

I built my first PC. So I did tons of research. Especially for monitors. After hours of staring at the monitor, I decided to up my budget by another $50 and use this one. The best decision I've made. The stand is solid, the build quality feels really premium and the colors are great. I have no dead pixels. And it looks really good! The only negative thing I can highlight is the speaker. It's not loud, it doesn't sound that good, and that's okay. I bought a Razer headset with 7.1 surround sound software that really helps the speakers! So I don't even have to buy an extra set of speakers for that. But if you want louder, more bass and better sound, then in any case it is better to buy speakers. Also, this isn't necessary for an average person like me. Also, the monitor resolution can be changed through the software of your motherboard or another manufacturer. But with built-in buttons and settings, it's difficult to get the right resolution. Overall I like it 5/5
