I recently mounted a TV on the wall in my bedroom. I've decided I want to install a soundbar as well. After careful research, I decided to give it a try. The brackets themselves are very strong. You can lengthen them and even remove a piece on each bracket to make them a little shorter. I have an RCA soundbar. The brackets are a little longer than I expected, even with the part removed to make them shorter. Still extends about an inch and a half past the front of the bar. Nothing wrong with that, I just moved the soundbar a little towards the mount. In general I like it very much. After installing the TV, I was happy with the result. Note. Use the included hex wrench to loosen the tension so the length can be adjusted, or remove a piece to shorten.
