Review on NDakter Bike Pouch: Versatile Water-Resistant Triangle Storage Bag for Road and Mountain Bikes - Perfect for Phone, Wallet, Keys, and Tools by Michael Jennings

Not waterproof, ruined my new bike's paintwork.

I loved this thing for a while, four months of almost daily use on a 3 mile commute. The other day I had to drive home in heavy rain. The zipper was closed, but the things inside were very wet afterwards. After removing it from the bike to clean the bike, I noticed this huge patch of peeling paint and a few spots of rust (pictured). I ordered this bike from the manufacturer at the same time, it was 4 months old and while we could tell it is a cheap finish I was lucky to even get my hands on this finish and bike size when I did . I'm very upset, but things are happening. Remember that abrasion will destroy the paintwork. I hate to blame the bag, but it happened and it's not waterproof. In addition, the Velcro strips twist after about a month. (I park my bike at home and at work, never in the sun) Otherwise, this is an inexpensive dope bag.
