You can actually spin it like a propeller
The GPS mounts snap into the suction cup but since there is no tension in the connection the GPS just wobbles. You can really spin it like a propeller. I was lucky enough to keep the old Garman suction unit. It takes a little effort to snap it onto an old device, but it keeps the device stable. Hopefully Garman will connect - I'm still waiting to try it.
