I cleaned the window following the instructions. I attached the suction cup to the window according to the instructions and it fell off after a few weeks. I have to keep repeating. Not sure what the problem is.

I had to order a new mount and suction cup because I left mine in my rental car while on holiday. This mount and window vacuum fit my Nuvi 2555 perfectly. The mount also fits the friction mount I already had. I am very satisfied with this product.

I lost my original while traveling, the price of it was so high that I was able to buy 2 of them - one installed almost permanently in my truck, the other specifically for traveling . The ball swivel is a bit tight but for the price I could overlook that. Update - Bought two, both broken. The rubber base has come loose where the suction cup enters the hard cap. Get what you pay for. Attention buyers.

The GPS mounts snap into the suction cup but since there is no tension in the connection the GPS just wobbles. You can really spin it like a propeller. I was lucky enough to keep the old Garman suction unit. It takes a little effort to snap it onto an old device, but it keeps the device stable. Hopefully Garman will connect - I'm still waiting to try it.

Left the original as a mannequin at the box office. O I went online to replace it and saw this on Revain. The price was right, so I ordered it. To me it looks just like the original. In fact, I find the suction cup connection even better than the original. I live in a very hot climate and the original could lose traction and fall off if the windshield gets too hot. This one seems to be staying in place, at least so far. For now I'm glad I got it.

My Garmin Nuvi 2555LM fits perfectly in this suction cup mount. I attached it and then attached the device to the mirror at my home. Two days later it was still firmly glued to the mirror. Yesterday morning I took it to my car, attached it to the windshield and drove 3 hours to Houston. Ten hours later I drove back home. Even today, the suction cup is firmly glued to the windshield. The ball mount held the Gamin securely at a predetermined angle, even when navigating over uneven railroad tracks

Writing a review after it broke 11 months later. Good investment for less than $10 but only lasted 11 months in hot South Florida compared to the original which lasted almost 4 years. If you plan to use it for a long time, it's probably better to use an original Garmin suction cup set (nuvi 2555, nuvi 2595, nuvi 50) which costs 3 times as much, or you can buy 3 of these suction cups instead. From time to time I take my Garmin on trips where I use it in rental cars. Last month I accidentally left an original Garmin mount on the windshield of a rental car (as far away as Salt Lake City) and didn't realize it until I got back to the east coast. just used the 3m double-sided tape, and it is permanently attached to the dashboard, and the pivot is strong and not loose, and the 3m tape can be removed without damaging plastics, metals, etc.

It was the perfect replacement for the one I forgot at the box office. It was cheaper than the original and was just as strong/tough and totally windshield and Garmin safe. Holds up great, has already driven over 800km!

This is not a bad product but you just need to be careful when you attach it in case the suction power is weak because you didn't fully attach it and your GPS might fall off the floor or in the car while driving . The first time I was careless and my GPS almost fell to the ground, but suddenly I caught it in mid-air so nothing happened.
