I received this scale today and it works great. This is your basic analog scale, nothing fancy. I just wanted something economical and easy to use without having to deal with batteries and it fit the bill. He feels a little limp. I weigh about 160 pounds and I can feel it shifting under my weight. I asked my husband to try it, it weighs just over 200 pounds and although he said it also seems a bit flimsy it holds up great. I will not move the scale or jump on it so I think it will hold up well. Other reviewers mentioned that it wasn't calibrated to zero when they got it and they didn't know how to fix it. Mine wasn't properly calibrated when I got it either, but that's to be expected. When analog scales fluctuate, they need to be recalibrated. Along the face of the dial is a dial. Simply place the scale on a flat surface and adjust the dial until the reading is zero. It couldn't be easier and all scales need to be recalibrated from time to time. I am very happy with my purchase.
