For 30 years I've had snowmobiles, jet skis and truck trailers with those hateful Wesbar style rectangular plastic lights that ALWAYS break. Step on them, they will break. Touch them with anything, they will break. In a few years of heat and cold, they deform and even break unaided. Never again! These Nilights are protected by a steel box. If you're good with tools and don't mind drilling a few holes, you can replace the old weak lanterns with modern oval sealed lanterns. Very well made, very strong. If you don't hit the headlights with a hammer, they won't break. If they ever break or burn out, you can remove the headlights without removing the boxes with a regular teaspoon. Just take it out (do it on a warm day), unplug it, plug in a new one and plug it back in. But I assume these LED bulbs will last a long time without needing to be replaced. That is amazing!
