Ideal for dampening high frequencies, but still allows some wind noise. I've tried foam plugs and everything. They are the most comfortable, but still let a lot of noise through. I wear them under my helmet and they do the job I wanted them to. I didn't like the guy who cuts off too much noise as sometimes you start to lose situational awareness. Overall, I'd recommend them to other drivers, with the caveat that they don't cut out all of the sound, just most of the high frequencies. 2 months follow-up: I wholeheartedly recommend them. They are very comfortable and after 5-10 minutes you forget they are in your ears. Now I automatically grab them when I go for a walk, they are the same as other riding gear. Fit is really important and takes a little time, but it's worth it.
