Review on Lifetime 9594 Universal Mounting Kit by Timothy Gonzalez

After reading several reviews (both good and bad) I finally ordered this product as it was the most I was willing to spend on a roof mount for my basketball hoop. OK - here's my 2 cents!1 - This product DOES NOT include roof mounting screws. The instructions clearly state that there are no screws included. It actually makes sense since the manufacturer doesn't know if you're going to mount it in wood, metal or tile, so it didn't bother me. $3 screws at the local hardware store was all I needed. 2 - instructions. Well, they stuffed a bunch of languages into it! BUT they are actually easy to follow if you sit down and read them in your living room in a nice comfortable armchair. in the air conditioner and out of direct sunlight on the driveway. :) This product can be mounted in three ways - on a pole, on a wall or on a roof. The first section of the guide is about placing the brackets on the back wall, then you need to find the section that suits your mounting style. Construction - It is similar to other Lifetime products in this price range. It's very basic, but the metal is a bit thicker than the $100-200 Lifetime handheld. I was very happy with the thickness of the metal compared to the existing bracket on the back. I would buy it again.
