Review on Toshiba SD1200 SD 1200 DVD Player by John Mejia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Your excuse for not buying a DVD player is a thing of the past!

This is one of those great exceptions where cheap simplicity equals product quality. I say cheap because this is one of the cheapest DVD players on the market. Any excuse to put off buying a DVD player will quickly disappear once you see this player in action. This is a full-featured player with premium build quality. It passed every test I put it through (The Matrix was a walk in the park). I have never seen a single compression particle in any film. The picture quality is excellent, the sound is excellent, the user interface is simple. The on-screen controls, as well as the remote control, are well thought out and easy to use. And did I mention the price was CHEAP! In summary, there is no reason for you not to buy this player. Unless you need an obscure feature that a $900 turntable offers that goes well with your $6,000 black and white speakers, don't waste your money on something more expensive. The more expensive players from Sony are not up to it. BUY IT! 000 dollar black and white speakers. The more expensive players from Sony are not up to it. BUY IT! 000 dollar black and white speakers.
