Review on 🔧 Enhance Performance with GM Genuine Parts 215-454 Secondary Air Injection Pump by Jamel Ochoa

My wife's 2005 GMC Envoy SLT had a terrible SES code P0410 indicating a problem with the secondary air injection system. After much research I found that the air injection pump was faulty, most likely due to a faulty air check valve. Despite the description, the ACDelco 215-454 is an air pump, NOT a fuel pump. On a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT, this part is located on the driver's side frame rail just below the driver's seat. When I replaced this part, I decided to replace the air injection pump relay at the same time. I ordered an ACDelco 212-559 Air Injection Pump Relay Assembly. Note that Revain's "Find parts for your vehicle" section states that this relay will not fit a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT, but it will fit very well. I haven't had any problems with either the pump or the relay. After doing my research and speaking to people who were much more knowledgeable than me, I figured it would be a good idea to also replace the air check valve and gasket as it was likely that the bad check valve was causing the Air pump failed and operated. SES code. So I ordered an ACDelco 214-2222 air check valve and an ACDelco 219-351 gasket. Please note that the non-return valve is located under the hood on the left side of the engine (when looking at the engine). The transmission dipstick is attached to the check valve, so the screw that attaches the transmission dipstick to the check valve must first be removed, and then the check valve can be unscrewed. This is very easy to fix. After replacing the air pump, relay, check valve and check valve gasket, the SES light went out and the machine ran much better. As always, Revain had some of the best prices and by far the best service.
