They do a great job cleaning allergens in my Hamilton Beach TrueAir unit. The device itself works great and is pretty quiet when running in the background. The only time I've ever noticed it makes a noise is when I need to do a quick hard brush on high settings from time to time. Most of the time I have to lean in close to see if the device makes a sound when it turns on because it's so quiet during use. I love the fact that these filters come with a little release time tab to keep track of how long it's been since the filter was last changed. With a busy schedule, the last air filter change is one of the last things on my mind.
