Short story: I like this tray much more than the purpose I bought it for. It has an elegant design and looks way better in my house than the usual ugly tray. The box is deep enough and the lid high enough to prevent urine leakage. The lid on this tray is much better at removing dirt from my cat's paws than a rug or rug and it makes my floors a lot cleaner. I like this tray very much. Long Story: My cat used to have a nightmare using a regular litter box. Even with the lid on she would pee on the back wall and water would spill out the back of the tray as normal tray lids are not designed to hold urine. After cleaning the wooden floors daily with ammonia, I finally got a small rubber-bottomed rug to put under the tray. The carpet didn't last long before it started smelling of urine. Luckily I was smart enough to order this tray and it arrived in the mail so I immediately threw her old tray and rug in the trash. All my problems have disappeared with this tray. Conclusion: This was the best purchase I have ever made and I am over 100% satisfied with this product. I highly recommend.
