I bought this outdoor remote because I was tired of plugging and unplugging the pump in my deck well every time I wanted it to work (the output box next to the deck seating area was also behind my sofa .Another minor inconvenience). This remote works as well as I could have hoped and is good value. Originally, the pump output pins were a little "tight" when inserted into the switch socket, but this ensures a snug, watertight fit. The included instructions recommend hanging the wireless switch vertically on the wall at least half a meter off the floor. The remote seems to work well, turning the fountain on and off almost instantly. In general; Good quality product perfect for my needs.
