For an 800x480 screen, the picture is good and responsive. It has a 70-degree viewing angle, but I had no trouble seeing the screen for my use case. A big problem with the screen, in my opinion, is that it doesn't have any mounting points. It is sold as a matching screen for the Raspberry Pi - and works with it via the HDMI output; but if you actually want to connect a Raspberry Pi to it, you're out of luck. The screen doesn't even have screw holes. It comes with a basic stand, but otherwise expect connected devices to lie alongside and not be securely attached to the back of the screen. If you want to get around this, you'll probably need to 3D print a case for it. .
