I connected it to my windows 11 mini pc music server. It can work well in 1080 mode, but to be honest, 7 inches is too small for this resolution. This is a really nice little display. It's rated at 800x480 but I'm running it at 1200x720 and the picture looks perfect. As you can see from the photos, I have it installed under my main PC monitor and use it to monitor my home security cameras. For an 800x480 screen, the picture is good and responsive. It has a 70-degree viewing angle, but I had no trouble seeing the screen for my use case. A big problem with the screen, in my opinion, is that it doesn't have any mounting points. It is sold as a matching screen for the Raspberry Pi - and works with it via the HDMI output; but if you actually want to connect a Raspberry Pi to it, you're out of luck. The display comes as a bare display. It's meant to be like a display that you embed in something. The only setting you get is on/off. Accepts HDMI and uses Micro-USB for power delivery. This is IMHO the biggest disadvantage. Along with the benefits of USB-C, you also have micro-USB cables, which are becoming increasingly rare, so you need to keep an eye on that one more cable. It seems like this little screen was designed for an entirely different project that never came to fruition, so someone added a driver board and made it a standalone product. It comes with a small plastic stand that doesn't really fit on top of it, but it does hold it up. The driver board is fully exposed, so you must be careful how you use it. Bought to fit in a new PC case. You may need to fix issues like custom resolution for the screen to work. I had to fiddle with the AMD driver/software (adrenaline version) and after selecting a display I found something under "Overrides" called "PreEmphasis" and it worked. It took all day to work, it was a bit annoying. There was some trouble finding the best place to view the display and also be able to read it, but when it's done it looks fantastic. This is an amazing piece. A small stand is included, very practical, which has been waiting for its arrival. I was looking for a stand to buy but then I didn't have to, it also has adjustable angles depending on what you're using your screen for. . I bought it to have a larger viewing monitor for my microscope macro setup so that regardless of the angle of my camera or the light shining on the screen, I can place the monitor in the front of my desk so I can see it. Image quality is surprisingly good, with slight bleeds on one edge that I taped over. Installed in my command strip case after masking some open circuits on the back with tape. If you use it to display wallpapers/videos in a loop, the picture quality is excellent. Perfect for my needs for $36.

I finally found the screen I was looking for. The 7 inch LCD screen is perfect for my PC case, it supports HDMI and USB, but if you have a normal ATX case you might need a 10 inch screen, good product and easy installation.

It doesn't have a back, but it works great. I use it to troubleshoot hardware that doesn't typically have a monitor, server, NAS, or phone system attached. Also ideal for cable TV or IP camera installers who have not yet installed a display or TV. Just ordered another window to put on a security camera so people know they are being recorded. 100 uses. Nice little product, you will be satisfied with it.

Connected as a second monitor in the Win 10 system - no signal. connected to several other HDMI devices "no signal". That's my feedback.

My experience is probably isolated and I'm sure this is a great product. The screen turns black and white shortly after switching on. Changed cable and nothing. I will turn back. This rating will be adjusted if the return process is easy and depends on customer service.
