This is a really nice little display. It's rated at 800x480 but I'm running it at 1200x720 and the picture looks perfect. As you can see from the photos, I have it installed under my main PC monitor and use it to monitor my home security cameras. (Ignore the mess of wires, I have yet to do anything more permanently. :-)) The display was plug and play with my Windows 11 PC and I only had to change the default resolution. The image is sharp and any distortion you see in the images I provide is due to processing effects. The included foldable stand is small making it easy to fit everything in a small space. And since it's plastic, there's no risk of shorting out any open circuits on the back of the display. The event would be an improvement and I would have to see what might be available. My only ding is with the vertical viewing angle. While the horizontal viewing angle is wide, the vertical angle is shifted downwards. Therefore the image looks best when viewed slightly from below. But even then the main viewing angle isn't great, maybe only 30 degrees or so. I haven't seen a way to control the contrast or other picture settings for this display and don't see a way to do it from a PC. But for the price and overall quality, this is a great little display for experimentation or other uses. secondary use.
