A MUST FOR EVERY SHOWER

Let me start with a little background on my apartment. I live in a studio in San Jose, California. The complex is older and was probably built in the 80's. When I moved in last month the handyman informed me that none of the units had a water softener. This caught my attention. The water in Santa Clara County, California is notorious for its harshness. Even with a water softener, the water cannot be completely decalcified, so without a water softener it is only a matter of time before limescale forms. economical way. I bought a 15 stage shower filter but wanted to filter out more calcium so I bought this shower head. This shower head is of good quality. It is easy to assemble and attach. I especially like that it has an on/off switch so I can now bathe my dog more easily. The massage settings aren't great, but not much worse than the massage settings of other shower heads. Its filtration capacity alone isn't that great, but coupled with my 15-stop filter, I noticed a noticeable difference in water quality once I fitted it. For those who complain that the water doesn't flow out immediately after a few uses, IT'S NOT THE SHOWER HEAD'S FAULT! THIS IS HARD WATER! The same problem happened to me because, as mentioned before, the water in my area is very hard. I put it in the CLR for 3 minutes, rinsed it with cold water and it was back where it was. For those of you purchasing this please beware of limescale build up. Conclusion: I love this shower head. It's sleek, easy to install and use, and helps filter out hard water. I'm much more comfortable showering in my San Jose studio. Considering the 15 stage filter does most of the work, this showerhead helps and is very economical in my opinion.
