So I previously bought $0.50 for 4 medium food storage containers at the staple store (yes, I didn't even know they were for sale until I saw them!). Not a bad deal, right? Yes, but also expect to get what you pay for haha. They were good for easy storage but definitely not airtight and at one point the lid cracked even without heavy use. They were a little heavier than those flimsy paper storage containers, but much stronger and stronger. They are also airtight, water poured in, turned over, there were no problems. They are as strong as the glass storage jars I have and I don't have to worry about them breaking. The lids on it also latch, which I can't tell about the other containers I have. Finally they can be stacked when not in use :)
