Review on πŸ—„οΈ NavePoint 19 Inch Rack Mount DJ Locking Lockable Deep Drawer with Key 4U Server Cabinet Case by Scott Mcgowan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Screw holes are different on older models - updated.

I bought 6 of these 2U/3U/4U NavePoint boxes. As you have seen, there are various reviews of non-standard screw rack holes. In the past I've explained this by the potential difference between some "DJ" and studio racks of non-standard racks versus server rack rails. But I had some issues that I could deal with. On my recent purchases I decided to add a few more drawers, balking at the cost but what I like most about these drawers and the fact that they are lockable and the mechanics of the drawers seem to be pretty good. (I warn you though that all drawers work with the same key, this can be a plus but also a minus that anyone with a NavePoint drawer key can open your drawers). Nonetheless. The big problem was confirmed this time with my expensive new drawer purchase. I can now confirm from the conflicting reviews on the screw holes that these are indeed crates and indeed depending on luck in the draw they may come with screw holes misplaced. Here are images of two "identical" NavePoint 4u drawers purchased from Amazon at different times, but both with the same item listing/item/asin. NavePoint emailed me this morning asking for a review. Here. Here are images showing the significantly different screw hole locations in these drawers, even for the same model. sent a new replacement box. Now all my boxes match. They all fit into standard server rack openings. NavePoint stands behind its products and supports its customers. I've bought a lot of hardware and parts for NavePoint server racks over the years and will definitely keep an eye on their products when I'm in the market. Many Thanks.
