You get what you pay for.

Cheapness comes at a price. and a long boat ride from China. I bought 2 sets of these and waited a month before seeing them. When installing, 1 set is completely out of order. If you're familiar with the "feel" of soft metal moving and deforming when tightened, you'll understand what happened to the clips in the photo. The first clamp failed as the casting buckled around the stem and then broke when I knew I should have stopped. But since the clamp could still move around the bar, it took a final little torque to push it past its limits. The second clamp failed when a cheap screw broke! Again, I could "feel" the bolt stretch, but the clamp was still free to move. The last torque adjustment closed the deal with a broken bolt. If you buy these clamps I would recommend threading them in, lengthening them, using good quality hardware and bolting them in place. Just pay attention to the softness of the clip material.

Pros
  • Adjustable bracket and easy installation.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
