This is a medium sized, slightly stiff pad that stays in place while ironing and you don't have to press and hold on one spot for 30 seconds for it to stick. Once worn, the fabric allows for movement but remains strong. Lightly sewn. You can see when the glue is fully bonded to the fabric by changing the padding. It starts out completely white and then becomes smooth and almost opaque - it's hard to explain. Throwing is a great way to get the required amount. I have mine on a "hillbilly paper towel holder" (a plastic hangar cut down the middle). I've worked with many different interfaces and this is by far my favorite. 5 fingers up!
