After reading several reviews that suggest this camera doesn't meet standards like "poor image quality" and "virtual reality is useless". I was hesitant to buy this camera but I also saw some reviews that said otherwise. So I decided to buy one. I couldn't be happier. I usually use my Nikon DSLR most of the time, but wanted to take a small camera with me when I'm racing the Century and doing other long road bike rides. The camera was great right from the start and very easy to use. The first time I used it after getting the camera was during the Metric Century bike ride where I took about 30 photos of another cyclist and myself with another cyclist behind me as I rode down the road . In this situation it was difficult to keep the camera steady while pedaling and I also had to pay attention to my riding style. I was amazed at the quality and sharpness of all the photos. I've used the camera on several other bike rides since then and love it. Of the 100+ photos I've taken so far, they were all taken while riding my bike, only one or two were slightly blurred and have been removed. This is the second Nikon digital camera I own, the previous one was the S220 and I think this camera is much better. Nothing more to say except that this camera is very suitable for my needs. I think it's a great camera.
