I used them when I was putting together Lionel's train diagram. I've used (or in some cases destroyed) all 50 of them. In general I was very happy with them. I have never used them. I've always done "homemade" wiring using conventional screw terminal blocks. This time I ran the power "buses" across the table and connected the track and accessories to the "bus" using these connectors. The only connection issues I had was when trying to use "speaker wire". I would split a two core cable, but the insulation on that cable was "rubber", and a couple of times I didn't have a good connection and had to cut the device cable and use two new connectors on the bus. In general, it turned out to be much easier than stripping, crimping, soldering and twisting connections.
