PLEASANT LOOK / SAVE DESK SPACE / HOT COFFEE

I bought this instead of the similar Keurig because it is a machine that takes up less counter space. Unlike my old Brewville, there are no real bells and whistles here, just power and one of three cup sizes. I'm crazy and the coffee is good and hot. It's fast and very quiet. I like the rear mounted reservoir which helps keep the width about 2-3 inches narrower than the equivalent Keurig. Like ALL machines with hot water on demand (no waiting to brew), they turn off when empty. Running the machine will keep the water hot when you want it, but will speed up calcification. My dear Brewville went in the dumpster because of it and it wasn't supported anymore. So my advice is to do a white vinegar rinse every 2 weeks and not use it unless you are ready to use it. 2 years later: still works like new. However, I have noticed a few small problems in the last 2 years. Sometimes (not very often) the coffee maker would freeze and nothing would work. when the device is unplugged, about 1/2 hour so that it can be reset. The tank could have been a bit bigger as after brewing two cups the tank is empty. It doesn't brew as fast as my previous brewer. He may need a different size option than 7,10 and 12 oz. Otherwise, this is ideal if you're not a heavy-duty user. If you're entertaining, get this big brother coffee maker. 3 years later she is still going strong. I use a variety of brands of K Cups and have never had one that didn't brew in this machine. (6?29/2020)
