Easy to assemble, I had the right number of shelves and extra connectors. It says 10 pounds is the limit for each shelf/cube. This isn't an organizer to put everything in like I was hoping. This is an organizer that organizes and holds lightweight items (less than 10 pounds per cube). My cat jumped on him (because cats do) and he didn't fall, but his claws left marks. For the price I would prefer metal or even chipboard. This goes well together though and works well with cubic boxes and clothes, I bought a separate bookshelf.
