They are normally operated below their rated temperature.
I bought these instead of their competitor because of the savings. For my purpose, they didn't do the job well comparatively. I'm sure they work well at lower temperatures, although I haven't used higher temperature readings.
- MICROWAVE SAFE: Steam table pads are suitable for steam tables where heat is only generated by steam. Liners are not ideal for direct contact with heat or direct flame, conventional ranges or stoves.
